In his Food Heroes Guide Rick Stein described Di's Dairy and Pantry as "a paradise for food lovers"; "an amazing place" said Martyn Harris in the Daily Telegraph; and it has also been acclaimed as the "Food Lovers Temple of the West". Located in the centre of Rock on the North Cornish Coast, Di's can provide everything to make your every meal an easy, yet memorable experience.

The home baking on offer includes lemon drizzle and chocolate banana cakes; lemon meringue pies, cheese cakes, fruit pies and crumbles. Amongst the wide range of home-made savouries you'll find chicken & mushroom and steak & kidney pies; pasta bakes and pasties; and lasagne. Then there are the cheeses - more than 100 English and Continental varieties, including local cheeses and local organic brie.

Other local products include several varieties of Cornish butter, Helsett Farm Ice Cream from Boscastle, clotted cream, preserves, chutneys and honey.

The choice is extended further by the selection of cold meats and charcuterie, upmarket tinned goods, an interesting range of wines, as well as fresh ground coffee and specialist teas.

Di's Pantry is a great place to browse, or you can do the same on its website and order by e-mail. Rock itself is popular because of its long stretches of golden sandy beaches and it's also well-known as a major watersports centre.

There are some high class shops, the renowned St Enodoc golf club and, for a pleasant excursion, the Black Tor passenger ferry runs from Rock to Padstow all year round.
