Based in the tranquil village of Gulval near Penzance, Cornish Lilies is run by a family that has been farming and growing flowers for four generation. The surrounding area has often been called the "Golden Mile" because of the richness of the soil and of the phenomenal crops it produces. Cornish Lilies are no exception - they have extraordinary stem strength and amazing bud counts. The company has been growing lilies on its 15-acre site for more than 10 years, selling to local florists including their own "Buds to Bloom" business as well as wholesalers across the country.

However, recent customer awareness of the importance of buying from and supporting English producers has led to the company sending its superb lily bouquets by mail order. They make wonderful gifts and also add a little bit of luxury to your own home.

Cornish Lilies specialise in three groups of the lilium family. The Oriental Lilies have an outstanding perfume and come in many shades of whites and pinks, either pure, toned or speckled. The most commonly known variety is Stargazer. Longiflorum Lilies create a striking impression with their wonderfully scented white trumpets, simple purity and elegance. The Asiatic Lilies come in an immense range of colours, sometimes two-toned or speckled. Occasionally they can be faintly scented.

Cornish Lilies, stunning bouquets are sent in bud to ensure that the recipient can enjoy their maximum life. They are carefully gift-wrapped with complementing foliage. They are dressed with cellophane, tissue, a large bow and flower food and then secured firmly into a specially designed box. If you are sending them as a gift, your message is handwritten for a personal touch on a decorative card which also includes care instructions and helpful tips. Orders can be made by phone or online and Cornish Lilies can also provide appropriate flowers for all occasions, including weddings and funerals. If you are visiting personally, Cornish Lilies is easily found about halfway between Gulval church and the heliport, and has its own ample parking area.
