Dating back to the 11th century, Cockington Forge stands at the heart of the impossibly picturesque village of that name. The old thatched building is now home to Cockington Forge Gifts and Brassware which stocks a remarkable range of products of which the most famous are its miniature good luck horseshoes which are made on site. But the variety on sale here ranges from martingales and horse brasses, through copperware to fridge magnets and starsign brasses, along with practical items such as kettles, coal scuttles, hand bells and candle holders.
