Set in the heart of the wonderfully peaceful Tamar valley _ a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty _ Beera Farmhouse is a traditional stone-built Victorian farmhouse in the middle of an 180-acre working beef and sheep farm. This unspoilt area contains a wealth of flora and fauna, and you may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of an otter or kingfisher down by the river, or a deer coming out of the wood to graze. There's a spacioius garden with extensive views across to Cornwall where guests can sit and relax. Guests also have the use of a comfortable lounge with an open log fire, TV, video, piano and a selection of board games and books. On arrival, your host Hilary Tucker serves a delicious home-baked traditional cream tea here.

There are three guest bedrooms, all en suite and tastefully decorated with Laura Ashley and Dorma furnishings, and generously equipped with colour TV, clock/radio and hospitality tray complete with home-made biscuits. Children are very welcome - a cot, linen and high chair are available, and there's also a fridge for baby milk and food. Please note that Beera Farmhouse is a non-smoking establishment.
