Both worked in the film industry, David as a chief hair designer whose credits include an Oscar nomination for his work as chief hair designer on Titanic. Alongside his film career, he has always had a love for interior design. As well as renovating and designing his own homes, he has advised on projects as diverse as a seaside cottage and a Docklands penthouse. Andrew's background is in costume for the film industry and the theatre, where he worked as a freelance costumier for the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House amongst others. Both dreamed of moving away from London to start afresh in the country, a dream which has now become a reality. "We've had such fantastic fun putting the collection together," they say. "We've sourced things from all over Europe: Linum from Sweden, Greengate from Denmark, gifts from Paris and Amsterdam, lots of lovely goodies from England and Scotland and a stunningly designed range of cookware by Nigella Lawson". All are new in town and many are exclusive to the shop.
