Come and relax at Dorset's best kept secret. Visit this unique and tranquil beauty spot set in the midst of the trees and heathland of the magical Isle of Purbeck.

The Blue Pool, once a clay pit and now completely naturalised, is famous for the ever changing colour of its water.

A host of sandy paths lead up to views of the Purbeck Hills or down steps to the waters edge. Enjoy the peace and quiet and finish your visit with a light lunch or a delicious cream tea with homemade scones baked on the premises.

The grounds are open daily from March to November; the Tea House, museum and gift shop from April to October. Dogs on leads welcome. Some facilities for the disabled. Free parking. Head south from Wareham on the A351 Swanage Road and you will see direction signs on the roundabout.
