Welcome to Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, a unique sanctuary in the heart of the Dorset countryside. This 65-acre woodland park is home to a family of over 160 rescued and endangered apes and monkeys. The park is a haven for 16 different species, where they are free to be themselves in a natural environment and in the company of their own kind. Some have been neglected or kept in unnatural conditions, others have experienced unbelievable cruelty.

Each primate here is a special individual, an important member of the family … whether they are rescued or part of an international breeding programme for endangered species. Your visit here is important because it helps to protect man's closest living relatives … for generations to come.
