The only accredited Rare Breeds Butcher in Somerset, Bill the Butcher has been supplying quality meats since 1979. Only local meats from local farmers are used and the pork and bacon are dry cured on the premises. Owner Phil Butler also stocks a wide variety of other wholesome foods: locally grown fruit and vegetables, local cheeses, Lovington's Ice Creams, Dorset Blue soups, Yeo Valley fat-free yogurts, organic milk from Bruton, River Cottage yoghurts, Godminster eggs and, on Fridays, fresh fish from Newhaven in Sussex. Then there are the wines, Fenteman's squashes and fruit drinks, Kettle's crisps and much, much more.
