The Red Lion Country Inn is handsome and welcoming, a spacious inn boasting traditional features such as the massive stonebuilt fireplace, adding to the cosy ambience.

 

Very much a family-run inn, owners Mary and John, who have been here since 1999, are ably assisted by their son, licensee Ian and his partner Joanne, daughter Jane and her husband Gareth
(Gareth is in charge of the cellar and beer) and daughter Victoria and her husband Haydn. Ian, Jane and Victoria are all chefs, and create an extensive menu of delicious bar meals and main courses using the freshest ingredients. Booking required at weekends.
 

Llanasa can be reached by taking the A55 and then the A5151 and turning right at Trelawnyd
