Real Ales, Bar Food, Restaurant Menu,

A wonderful old stone building that began life as a farmhouse, hidden from the main Dolgellau to Bala road and older than the village church, Tafarn Yr Eryrod (The Eagles Inn) is traditional and welcoming, with low beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace, spacious and airy rooms and a warm ambience. Flowers from the gloriously colourful beer garden adorn the tables.

This friendly inn is family-run by Eleri Pugh, with assistance from her sons Gareth, Elgan and Owain, and husband Meirion, who tends the garden and superb blooms. Eleri is also the chef, creating excellent meals (booking required at weekends); the changing menu boasts traditional favourites lamb, beef, local produce and fresh fish.
