Description:

Bodmin Plant and Herb Nursery is a `proper' nursery, specialising in herbs and herbaceous perennials, and much, much more. It is the sort of Nursery that you thought no longer existed: traditional growing, fresh and healthy plants, a range that surprises and excites, as well as friendly advice on hand. Nestled in countryside on the site of an old water mill, the 4-acre site stocks more than 250 herb varieties, from culinary to medicinal, including the more unusual kinds such as Lemon Grass and Vietnamese Coriander. There's an even greater range of herbaceous perennials - in excess of 2000 varieties, including an excellent range of hardy geraniums, all raised in the nursery. A whole area is dedicated to planting in or around water, from Astilbes to Zantedeschias. The nursery also has a comprehensive Shrub range featuring hedging ideas for moorland and coast, plus specimen shrubs. A `Bespoke and Beautiful' hanging basket service is available for summer and winter, or you can make up your own from the huge selection - or simply buy "off-the-peg". Opening times: 1st April - 31st October 9am -6pm; 1st Nov-31st March 9am-5pm; Sundays 10am-4pm.
