Leave Burton-on-Trent southwards on the A444.
At Castle Gresley (approx 7 miles), turn right and follow
the signs for the National Forestry Centre. The nursery
is opposite the Centre.

Description:
|
 The Chapman family have owned and run the Garden
Centre since it began more than 70 years ago. It started
by growing tomatoes and then specialised in chrysanthemums and
bedding plants before developing into the fully-fledged
nursery and garden centre it is today. It is generally known
as THE plant centre of south Derbyshire and offers
a huge selection of plants ranging from bedding
plants to large specimen trees. The Chapmans back up
their products with a wealth of horticultural knowledge
and are happy to offer information and advice. Not only
do they offer traditional plants but also a bespoke
plant sourcing service for that very special variety. A
popular amenity at the Centre is the log cabin tea
room offering quality tea and coffee, and an array of
fine food. The shop area stocks all the usual
garden sundries, house plants, wild bird products, bulbs
and garden furniture.
