Carlton Walled Garden Nursery offers 2 acres
of inspirational planting, including many rare and unusual perennials. A large area is devoted
to various shade-loving plants and there's also a
herb and vegetable maze set in a square of old
Victorian fruit trees. A new white garden sits next
to established old fig trees and bamboos and
grasses grow beside a `dry-river bed' path leading to
an ornamental Victorian pond.
