Description:

 Established in 1951, Chelston Nurseries are
the oldest established nurseries in the Wellington
area. It is a family-run business which has grown into
a retail nursery and now specialises in selling a
huge range of plants direct to the public. The
nurseries take pride in growing as many of its plants
as possible "on site", giving the nursery a
traditional `home-grown' feel. Chelston Nurseries are
well known for growing a huge range of bedding,
patio and hanging basket plants as well as an
extensive range of herbaceous perennials, shrubs,
climbers and alpines. They don't just sell plants - they
also stock a wide range of gardening essentials and
tools. These include a wide selection of composts, mulches and soil conditioners and also a
large choice of fertilisers, and garden pest
control solutions. They also offer a good range of patio
pots - specializing in `Yorkshire Flowerpots', UK
made frost proof terracotta pots. |
