Close to the water's edge in the popular resort of Falmouth,
Café Strand is easy to spot with its cheerful blue and
white frontage. Owners Julie and Susan share the duties, Julie front of house and Susan
doing sterling work in the kitchen. Everything is
home-made, and the printed menu and specials board tempt
with hearty dishes like chicken & mushroom or cheese, leek
& potato pie, chicken curry, lamb casserole
and daily roasts. Also breakfasts and lighter snacks. Open Monday to Saturday 8.30 to
3 (to 4 in summer). Cash only.
