Bankside provides top-quality Bed &
Breakfast accommodation in a house that dates back to
1820, with a lovely secluded garden at the front and
a private car park to the rear. Heather and Rob
Batho are on hand with the warmest of welcomes in their spacious home, and since
they started the B&B in 2002 many repeat visitors have enjoyed their
hospitality, the relaxing atmosphere and the excellent amenities. The house has
three well-fitted guest bedrooms, two with en suite facilities, the third with a
private bathroom, all with central heating, television, tea/coffee tray and
hairdryer.
Heather is famous for her gourmet breakfasts, which include homemade yoghurt, bread and
preserves, free-range eggs and locally produced bacon
and sausages. American-style pancakes are topped with
bacon and maple syrup or banana, yoghurt, honey and nuts.
This feast should set her guests up for the day, but for
those who burn their calories off at high speed she'll
provide cream teas in the afternoon! Book for three nights
or more and a complimentary cream tea will greet you
on day one.
