The AA three-star
Boars Head Hotel in Sudbury is one of the finest country hotels in
Derbyshire. Sitting in its own grounds, it is adjacent to the A515 and close to
the A50, and offers 22 luxurious, en suite rooms that have a trouser press,
ironing board and iron, hair drier, TV with Teletext and Sky channels, and a
direct-dial telephone.
Whether it's a
bar snack or a dinner you are after, you are sure of great food at the Boars
Head. You can eat in the cosy yet spacious bar or in the elegant "Royal Boar"
restaurant. The food is prepared from only the finest and freshest of local
produce wherever possible, and the dishes are created with imagination and
flair. The restaurant makes an ideal venue for a family celebration such as a
party or a wedding reception.
The hotel has an
informal atmosphere, and offers weekend breaks which includes two night's bed
and breakfast, evening meals on Friday and Saturday, and a Sunday lunch. The
price is remarkably reasonable, and you are sure to have a very enjoyable and
relaxing time!

cards are taken, and children are more than welcome. A children's menu is
available. There is plenty of off-road parking, and there is so much to see and
