14th century and many original features
such as the lead glass windows, slab and
cobble-stoned floor, arched entrance and lane entry,
are still in place. Owner David Sawyer, who has been here for some 18
years, presides over the bar which offers a choice of 3 real ales. Bar food is available while
the restaurant offers a superb à la carte
