The tropical landscaped gardens at Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast
Butterflies are home to a wide variety of exotic butterflies from around
the world that live, breed and fly freely here along with small birds and other
tropical creatures such as terrapins and leaf
cutting ants.
Meanwhile, in specially designed outside landscape, three species of otter,
including the native British otter, can be seen both
on land and in the water.
The otters, some of whom have been rescued and some that have been bred
here, are fed three times a day and both they and the butterflies provide plenty
of opportunity for budding wildlife photographers to hone their skills.
