Situated on the western side of Exmoor, in a gentle valley,
Exmoor Zoological Park has evolved from the original bird
gardens opened in 1983 to this unique family orientated attraction.. Covering some l2
acres, the zoo contains a varied collection of
birds, mammals, insects and reptiles from all over the world and
there are over 200 species on display. Specialising
in people participation through encounter sessions,
mini guided tours and animal contact, this zoo has a
welcoming and friendly atmosphere that encourages
people to return again.
