Arch House, a substantial redbrick building dating
from 1830. It was originally the home of the local excise man, and its prominent location
gave him a good view of the activities of the townsfolk.
The ten en suite guest bedrooms provide a
comfortable base for walkers, birdwatchers and tourists discovering
the surrounding area, and guests can enjoy a stroll in the garden at the back of the
house. A full Norfolk breakfast, including locally produced bacon and sausages, is served in
the smartly modernised dining room, where an evening meal is available by arrangement.
