New licensees Paul and Michelle Hunt have quickly made their mark at the
Affleck Arms, a delightful old thatched pub
with abundant charm and character. Locals, tourists and racegoers come here to enjoy
the real ales, which feature small local breweries (Affleck IPA, Adnams Bitter) and
Paul's excellent home cooking. Sunday night is games night, with a variety of traditional
pub games. The inn has an en suite double room for guests staying overnight.
