Built by a local landowner in the late 19th century,
Elim Bank Hotel is a
typical stone-built gabled Lakeland residence. It's kept in apple pie order by
owners Brian and Margaret Hodgkinson, and a major recent undertaking was the
rebuilding of the conservatory in wood, accurately replicating the original.
The seven guest bedrooms all have en suite facilities, television and beverage
tray, and the tariff includes a hearty English breakfast. The Hotel has its own
car park.
