The centre is a sanctuary for birds of prey, set in the walled garden and
parkland of Lowther Castle. Visitors can see over 100 eagles, hawks, falcons
and owls from around the world. The aim of the centre is to conserve birds of
prey through education, breeding and caring for injured and orphaned birds
before releasing them back to the wild. There is also a tearoom as well as
regular courses and lectures.
