Just over the canal bridge The Boat & Anchor, a 120-year-old hostelry, nestles alongside the picturesque Taunton-Bridgwater Canal. The setting and the views are a real delight, and the inn is an ideal spot to pause on a journey to or from Devon and Cornwall.

The welcome from owners and staff is warm and genuine, and the wide choice of food and drink provides something to please everyone.
