Biddulph Grange Garden

Grange Road, Biddulph, Stoke on Trent ST87SD

Tel: 01782 517999

Biddulph Grange Garden, near Stoke on Trent, is a series of picturesque gardens, each with its own character and set of growing conditions. It is one of the most exciting survivals of the great age of Victorian Gardening. A visit will take you on a journey of discovery around the world, through tunnels and winding pathways. Search for the beauty and tranquillity of China, the magnificence of an Egyptian court and the cool splendour of a Scottish Glen. Unusual and rare plants, mythical beasts and eccentric follies ensure surprises around every corner.

The National Trust owned property is open on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from April to October and Saturdays and Sundays only during November and December (phone for up to date details and prices). The tearoom offers a wonderful Victorian themed menu with hot and cold lunches, afternoon teas and homemade cakes and biscuits and the shop is full of excellent range of gardening books, gifts and plants.
