Amber Cross and her daughter Carla run the Station Guest House & Whistlestop Café, where they offer quality B&B accommodation and some of the best informal eating in the region. The unusual setting is the railway station at Woodbridge, on the Ipswich-Lowestoft line.

Three of the four en suite bedrooms look out over the Deben river, providing a very comfortable base for exploring the many attractions of Woodbridge and the surrounding area. The café is open from 7 in the morning right through to 5 o'clock (from 9 at the weekend), and the printed menu and specials board offer a mouthwatering selection of cakes and pastries, sandwiches, hot and cold savoury dishes and hot and cold drinks, including a fine range of speciality coffees. There are seats for 30 inside, and a further 50 outside in the station forecourt.
