Owner Peter Freeman has invested considerable time and resources into refurbishing the Avonside Hotel and adding many new amenities. He has made it a really outstanding Restaurant with Rooms, with two excellent chefs preparing superb dishes that include British classics and some Thai specialities. The seven beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms offer all the modern comforts, and guests have the use of a heated outdoor swimming pool. The landscaped grounds lead down to the River Avon, and the hotel has moorings and fishing rights.
