For many years Glenys and Neil Crampton have owned and run the Birch Hall Inn, and they have made it one of the best-known and best-loved inns in the whole county. In a stunning location on the route of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, its two rooms provide a delightful, homely setting in which to enjoy a glass or two of ale, a simple, tasty snack or a slice of the excellent beer cake. Attached to the main building is a self-catering cottage for four.
