House stands in it's own landscaped grounds, complete with
an ornamental pond and Japanese-style bridge. The two-storey home is in the Georgian style with well-proportioned gracious rooms and the
owners, Derek and Agnes Timmons, have furnished it beautifully throughout with quality items.
Visitors enter through the hallway with its marble floor and then enter the richly carpeted main
rooms. Guests have the use of a lounge with complimentary tea/coffee service.
The guest bedrooms are also attractively furnished and decorated in individual styles
with comfortable "Scaly" beds. All rooms have en-suite facilities and televisions. At breakfast time
there is a comprehensive menu, including full Irish or other cooked dishes or Continental with
a selection of fruits, yoghurts, cheeses and fresh home-baked bread. Late evening arrivals and
early morning departures are catered for, local taxies and buses are available. Balally House
is conveniently located about 5 kilometres from Shannon Airport and Bunratty Castle, and is just
a short walk from local restaurants and bars. Ennis and Limerick are a 15-minute drive away and
the spectacular Cliffs of Moher approximately 45 minutes.
