Located just over a mile south of Donegal Town, adjacent to Donegal Craft Village,
Ardlenagh View B&B is ideally suited as a base for
touring the northwest. The house stands in its own
private lands and looks out to the Bluestack Mountains
and Donegal Bay. A spacious terrace provides a lovely setting from which to enjoy the glorious
views of the hills and bay. Ardlenagh is the home of Eileen
and Tony Mulhern, a friendly and welcoming couple who
do everything they can to ensure their guests have a
pleasant and comfortable stay.
Approved by the Irish Tourist Board and a member
of the Town & Country Homes Association, Ardlenagh offers
a choice of spacious, attractively furnished and
decorated rooms, all with en suite facilities. Guests also have the use
of a large residents' lounge with comfortable
leather armchairs and those wonderful views. Local
attractions include Donegal's historic castle and abbey; the Craft
Village (just 2 minutes walk away) with its resident potter,
ceramic artist, weaver and batik painter; Magee's shop which
is renowned for its Donegal Hand-woven Tweed; the
superb beaches at Rossnowlagh and Murvagh; and one of
the longest links courses in Europe, the golf course at
Murvagh overlooking Donegal Bay.
