The portfolio of Lakeland Holiday Cottages covers a wide range of holiday
accommodation, including properties of many years' standing and
a variety that are newly enrolled. What they have
in common is that all are chosen by the firm's owners Jo and
David Burton, who are dedicated to ensuring
customer satisfaction with and enjoyment of the
self-catering properties. They are all also inspected
and independently graded by the English Tourism
Council and have been awarded a `Quality Star' rating.
The owners' first-hand knowledge of all the properties means that they can advise on the
suitability for each client regarding numbers of guests, location, facilities and individual attractions.
They are in charge of about 60 properties sleeping from 2 to
8 or 9, all combining period charm with up-to-date
comfort and amenities. The area covered by Lakeland
Holiday Cottages covers Borrowdale, Newlands,
Penruddock, Threlkeld, Keswick, Bassenthwaite and Cockermouth.
All the properties are displayed on the
comprehensive website and bookings can be made online.
