Farmhouse Tearoom, Craft Barn, Gallery and Farm Park. The Gincase has all these on one site, making it one of the leading visitor attractions in the area. The hands-on owners are Val and John Nattrass, and in the tea room, where a cooking range dating from 1760 is among the period items on show, Val uses local produce and traditional recipes in her delicious home baking. Morning coffee, hot and cold lunches and afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the Gincase building or out in the lovely orchard garden.

The adjoining Craft Barn is filled with high-quality items made by hand in Cumbria, and the bright, airy Gallery exhibits work in many media and styles by Cumbrian artists, the displays changing every six weeks. The Rare Breed Farm and Animal Park is home to a wide variety of animals including cows and calves, goats and kids, sheep and lambs, pigs and piglets, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Also at this family attraction is a children's playground with ride-on toys and a sandpit. In a quiet location just a mile from the picturesque Solway Coast, The Gincase is open daily except Mondays out of season. The Farm Park is open from Easter to the end of October. Facilities include free parking, disabled access and toilets, and baby changing facilities.
