 Ardbeg Cottage is a small B&B near the centre
of Lochmaben, a friendly village just 4 miles west
of the M74 at Lockerbie. It enjoys much repeat business. There are two letting bedrooms, one
twin and one double, and a shared lounge/diner all
on the ground floor, and one step up from the footpath, and one down to the paved garden at
the back.
All beds have posturepaedic mattresses, or equivalent, for comfort. Each bedroom has TV,
tea/coffee facility, hair dryer, washbasin, alarm clock, towelling dressing gown and slippers,
power sockets, and an ensuite shower, shower
caps and toilet. There is soap, face cloth and
quality towelling for each guest.
The twin room has a low entry shower with folding seat and handrail, lever
controls are fitted to the shower and washbasin taps.
A toilet seat raiser and frame are available, if required. It is approved for guests
with mobility problems. The double room has a 6 foot wide superking bed, which can be
made up as two standard single beds if preferred.
Substantial breakfasts are available between 7.30am and 9am. Three
course evening meals are available, given prior
notice, and are served at 6.30pm. Rates on
request. No smoking, no pets.
