Dating back to the late 1700s, the Black
Bull is one of Dunbar's oldest hostelries and
is very popular with local people. It's a compact place with just one room on the ground
floor and two guest bedrooms upstairs with a
private bathroom. The bar has a large screen TV and
juke box, and once a month a karaoke session is held
here on Sunday afternoon. The bar also hosts a folk music evening, also once a month
on Wednesday. There's no food served - this is very much a place for drink and
congenial company.
