Nairn is one of Scotland's best holiday and
golfing resorts, and nestles on the shores of the
Moray Firth. It is one of the sunniest and driest places
in Britain, and locals will assure you its name
derives from "no rain"! At the west end of the town is
the Aurora Hotel and Italian Restaurant, a
superior establishment that combines the very best of accommodation with the very best of food.
Its ten rooms are all en suite, and are tastefully
and comfortably furnished to make your stay as relaxing
as possible. All have colour TV and central heating, and there
is plenty of car parking. Overseas visitors will feel really
at home, as the owners speak several languages,
including Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, and are always keen to
learn new ones!
While staying in the hotel, why not dine in the hotel's
own restaurant? It is renowned throughout the area for the quality of its traditional Italian dishes,
which uses only the finest and freshest of local produce
wherever possible. You can dine in the elegant dining room or
the spacious conservatory, and be assured of a meal to be
remembered. You can even relax over a quiet drink beforehand in the hotel's well-stocked bar.
