The Benleva Hotel sits in an acre of
private grounds just a half a mile from Drumnadrochit.
It is a picturesque and very historic building, being
a former manse dating back over 300 years. Its
tree-lined driveway even has a 400-year old
hanging tree! The hotel is a friendly, welcoming establishment, famous for its good food, its comfortable accommodation and its ales
It has six en suite rooms that are comfortable, well furnished and decorated to an
extremely high standard, including one that is a family room and one that boasts a four-poster. The
ambience of the place is very welcoming and friendly, and if you stay here you are sure to return!
The hotel's two bars are famous for their wide selection of single malts and real ales. In fact,
it was voted the CAMRA Highlands and Islands Pub of the Year in 2005 for the second time
in three years. Fine food is available all day, with
the produce used in the kitchens being sourced
locally whenever possible, ensuring freshness and full
flavour. Salmon - venison - lamb - beef - all appear on
the menu in many imaginative dishes that are sure to
appeal to your taste buds.
There is a small beer garden to the rear which is
a sun trap in the summer months, and dogs and
children are most welcome. You can use the hotel as
an overnight B&B stop, or as a base to explore a wide
area that takes in Loch Ness, Inverness, Fort William,
the Moray Firth and the West Highlands.
