The Cartws Café occupies a charming stone building located on land owned by the National Trust which is also a site of special scientific interest and part of the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. Throughout the summer the café is open every day from 10am until dusk, and offers an extensive selection of meals ranging from home-made soup of the day, through ploughman's, dressed crab, sandwiches and filled rolls, to delicious home-made cakes. From 7pm the café offers a separate evening menu with dishes such as owner Helen Jones's renowned Thai salmon fishcakes. To find Cartws Café follow the signs off the A487 for Penbryn Beach and you can't miss it. The café is open October 11am - 3pm and Nov & Dec on weekends only.
