The popular resort of Benllech is well known for its extensive beach but from spring
of 2007 there has been another good reason to visit the town. It was then that two
local ladies, Gwenllian and Llinos, opened their
Caffi Gwenno. They offer a superb choice of
home-made dishes, all cooked on the premises using fresh
local produce. The choice includes everything from
cooked breakfasts to lunch, main meals and
afternoon tea. But most popular of all are the
wonderful cakes and scones. In addition to the menu
- printed in both English and Welsh, there's a daily specials board and freshly
prepared lunches are available to take away.
