As you enter the historic walled town of Conwy from the A55, you will see the
magnificent medieval castle on your left and, across the
road, The Bridge Inn on your right. This is a fine
old traditional hostelry where mine hosts, Jenny and Keith, offer
a genuinely warm welcome. Keith is very proud of his
range of real cask ales which are kept in tip-top
condition. There are 5 in all, with Jennings Cocker
Hoop, Marston's Pedigree and Bass as the permanent brews, supplemented by
2 rotating guest ales. The bar also stocks an excellent collection of single malt whiskeys.
Jenny and Keith are also proud of the quality food served
here, prepared by professional chefs using locally sourced
ingredients wherever possible. The regular menu offers a wide selection
to suit every palate and there's also a choice of daily specials.
On Sundays, roasts are added to the menu and booking ahead for
this is strongly recommended. The Bridge Inn also has
excellent accommodation in 5 upstairs rooms, all attractively furnished
and decorated and with en suite facilities. The rooms range in
size from single to family room.
