Located in the heart of Narberth, The Angel
Inn dates back to the early 1800s though there have been later additions made to
the establishment.
Today, the pub is made up of a small, cosy bar and a larger lounge / dining area.
It's a friendly and welcoming place thanks to mine hosts Woody and Wendy Wood
who took over here in November 2006 after running a social club for some 11
years before that.
They have quickly gathered a glowing reputation for the quality and warmth of their
hospitality towards locals and visitors alike. That includes the well-kept ales, three of which are always on
tap with Buckley's Bitter and Rev. James as the two
regular brews. The inn is also noted for the great food
on offer. Wendy is the cook and her menu gives pride
of place to locally grown, farmed and fished fresh Pembrokeshire produce. In addition to the
regular menu, Wendy also offers a choice of daily specials.
The Angel is open all day from 10am to
closing time, and food is available throughout that time.
In good weather, customers can enjoy their
refreshments in the pleasant beer garden. And if you are
planning to stay in this popular area, the Angel has
8 comfortable letting rooms available, three of
which have en suite facilities.
