A6036, The Brown Horse Inn is a hidden gem well worth seeking out. Run by
sister and brother team Yvonne and Philip, this excellent premises is open all
day, every day with four tip-top choices of ale: John Smiths, Ruddles, Black
Sheep and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Dating back to 1856, this welcoming and
traditional inn also boasts superb food at lunch (daily) and dinner (Monday to
Friday), with a range of expertly prepared traditional dishes - fish is a
speciality - together with exotic choices such as emu, crocodile and kangaroo!
