large and impressive public house serving great food, drink and hospitality.
Dating back to the 16th century, the interior boasts comfortable
seating amid attractive surroundings. The non-smoking dining room seats 30,
while other dining areas include the lovely beer garden. Children are welcome at
this friendly pub, where the menu includes traditional favourites, modern dishes
and daily specials. Wednesday night is curry night, while on Thursday evenings
sirloin steaks are the speciality. The Sunday carvery (also served Bank
Holidays) is a sumptuous feast at a very reasonable price. Booking required
Friday to Sunday.
There are real ales (Black Sheep and Deuchars)
plus a good range of draught keg bitters, lagers, cider, stout, wines, spirits

over 15 years' experience in the trade. A hub of the community, there's live
entertainment every Saturday evening. The accommodation comprises four ensuite
guest bedrooms in a range of sizes to suit different tastes and numbers. Each is
individually decorated with taste and style, and are very comfortable. A full
