Tea house, shops and museum - an oasis of peace which has been attracting visitors since 1935. The Blue Pool itself, once a clay pit, retains particles of clay which cause a kaleidoscope of colour changes, and the 25 acres that surround it offer calm and gentle exercise among the heather, gorse and pine trees. Rare flora and fauna can be glimpsed, and after their stroll visitors can enjoy excellent home baking in the tea house.
