Burley village has just about everything you could want from a traditional New Forest village. It nestles in the lee of a hill, surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty, and ponies and cattle roam freely following ancient forest tracks used for centuries by Commoners and their livestock. The village also boasts a fine old traditional pub, The Burley Inn, offering good food, cask-conditioned ales and quality accommodation. In the bar and non-smoking dining room, food is served from noon until 9pm with a menu ranging from light snacks to 3-course meals anything from freshly cut sandwiches, hot snacks and ploughmans' to freshly baked pies, grills and vegetarian dishes. Roast lunches are available on Sundays.

This Free house stocks a good range of cask-conditioned ales and there's also a good choice of wines, beers and spirits. If you plan to stay in this lovely part of the New Forest, the inn offers a choice of en suite accommodation king size, double or twin and all rooms are equipped with colour TV, clock radio, hairdryer and hospitality tray.
