Aspex Gallery is a major art gallery providing the people of Portsmouth and visitors with opportunities to experience some of the most innovative contemporary visual arts locally, nationally and internationally. This is achieved through the gallery's exhibition programme and associated education/outreach events. Aspex Visual Arts Trust, which directs the Gallery, also supports the production of new work by provision of work space and commissioning, contracting and employment of artists. The Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, with regular Saturday afternoon children's workshops
