Eastleigh Museum is the ideal place to discover what life was like in the town in the past. Visitors can meet Mr and Mrs Brown, a local engine driver and his wife, and see the re-creation of their home including the living room, scullery, back yard and outhouse. Also re-created is part of the Southern Railway locomotive works and a steam engine footplate. The museum always offers something new to see with special exhibitions, including art, crafts, photography, local history and natural history, as well as the work of local artists and societies. Refreshments are served in the Whistle Stop Café.
