Chilton Farm, with its 18th century farmhouse, is
a working farm set in beautiful, peaceful
countryside and close to the glorious southwest coast of
the island. Within the grounds of the estate are
Chilton Farm Cottages, a delightful cluster of
old farm buildings which have been imaginatively converted to provide top quality
self-catering
semi-detached cottages. The eight properties are set
around an attractive courtyard, have all been equipped to a
very high standard, and sleep from 2 to 8 people.
Arriving guests will find a small welcome pac
k awaiting,
beds made and towels in the bathroom.
There are wall-mounted heaters for chillier
days; cots and high chairs are available, and baby sitting
can also be arranged. At the farmhouse itself, there's a
shop selling the farm's own fruit and vegetables,
new tennis courts and coarse fishing can also be arranged. In
the village of Brighstone itself, two further properties are
also available a charming pair of semi-detached
16th and 17th century cottages. Built of stone and brick, the cottages
have open fires as well as night storage heaters. Each has its
own small garden and off-road parking, with a large play
area adjacent.
