The Hidden Inns Series
originates from the enthusiastic suggestions of readers of
the popular Hidden Places guides. They want to be directed
to traditional inns 'off the beaten track' with atmosphere
and character which are so much a part of our British
heritage. But they also want information of the many places
of interest and activities to be found in the vicinity of
the inn.
The Hidden Inns of the South of
England is divided into six chapters. To identify your
preferred geographical region refer to the contents page. To
find a pub or inn and details of facilities they offer
simply use the index to the rear of the guide or locator map
at the beginning of each chapter which refers you, via a
page number reference, to a full page dedicated to the
specific establishment.
